Pavilion Mexico

Pavilion Mexico
The rational architecture has remained in force throughout history, attached to the structure of human understanding of a living and functional space, being the best option to any building that claims to be affordable. On the other hand, parametric architecture constantly strives to demonstrate its aesthetic value on function, break the barrier of the traditional paradigm and create its own language close to the technological development of humanity in different areas.
The pavilion is posed as the constant dispute between modern and parametric traditional architecture. The first, come from the use of simple geometric forms, with a defined, structured and proportional modulation in a reticular space with dimensions marked by materiality or by the elements of its construction. The second one, represented by a white skin, formed by circles, seeks to cross the modulation barrier taking advantage of any orthogonal drilling available.
The user is able to explore the space, interact with it, and even access the pavilion to appreciate the different impacts of modular architecture with organic architecture that constantly works to break down the barriers established by the parameters of antiquity, materiality of objects and the rationality of thought.
Finally, the culmination of the pavilion, speaks of the recycling of ephemeral structures and the maximum purpose of architecture: its usefulness. With the metaphor that the white skin managed to get out of the gray box, a classroom for everyday use roofed with the white circles as tiles, alluding to the dialogue that must exist between all the aspects of the architecture which is that all must work for the benefit of the human being, which will happen with this pavilion in his final destination.
