Project description
Marburg University commisioned a new Library within its campus. The exterior of the building feels solid and robust with large beige and white EQUITONE panels. The high atrium has a curved glass roof giving the interior space a semi-public street space feel.
The curve of the roof is echoed in the interior facades covered with EQUITONE [natura] in colour Ruby [N359]. The size of the facade panels correspond with the size of the windows. From certain angles and light the interior red can be seen when outside of the building, giving the sense of an enclosed, protected gem.
